Spa at the Strand Salon. Its warm and inviting style offers guests

The Strand Salon located in Mansfield, Massachusetts was
originally a full service salon for 17 years when Michael
and Linda DeCristofaro decided to expand it's boundaries to include
a Day Spa. The Salon and Spa was designed by both owners and
holds the particular artisanship of Michael and the final
decorative touches of Linda. Presently, the salon and spa covers
2500 square feet with nine available styling centers. Upon
entering the reception area guests wait comfortably in
overstuffed chairs, accented by area rugs, roman shades and
appealing art. Fresh fruit, water with lemon slices, coffee and
many other amenities are available on a daily basis for all
guests.
Within the salon guests can easily pick up the contagious New
York rhythm that permeates the room. While receiving manicures,
clients have a full view of the professional hair designers in action.
Guests are also entertained by a satellite sound system that
offers an upbeat, exciting backdrop of music.
This charismatic energy shifts in pace once the glass door opens
into the "spa side" of this unique establishment. When clients
cross the threshold from salon to spa they experience a soothing
and charming environment. This atmosphere offers a special type
of relaxation connected with a paradise escape. Specifically, the
spa houses three state of the art pedicure stations and six treatment rooms
for facials, massages and various body treatments. A private
shower is available for women or men participating in a Full Day of Beauty
Program. Guests may luncheon in front of an oversized picture
window at a bistro table, elegantly set with stemware, linen
napkins and glass dinnerware. New Age music surrounds the spa
side and can be individually controlled along with lighting and
temperature in each treatment area.
