I love day spa at the strand! I have been going there for years. I currently live in Boston, but my family lives near the area, so I still go for hair cuts, waxes, and massages.

In Boston most places charge $60+ to just see a junior stylist (someone who has only been in the business for a couple years), and half the time they charge you extra for blow dry and style, upwards of $20+. And the places that do charge $40-$45 for a cut do not have the same quality that you get at the day spa.

Whenever I need a cut or wax I take the train all the way to Mansfield and walk just to go to the day spa (well, I visit my family as well)

I don't have a regular stylist since I usually call the day before I need to come in, but I have NEVER had a bad hair cut. Some places around Mansfield/Foxboro charge $30 or $35 for a cut, but again, the quality is not even close. I usually can wait up to 3 months before I get my next cut because it grows out so well. I have seen probably everyone for a cut, Dee, Nancy Jane, Jenn, and there are so many other talented stylists. I usually just call and say whoever is open, just book them.

Before your cut, they sit you down and ask what you want and usually I will give them an idea of what I want and then say, "do whatever you think is best" and it always looks great!

Also, I found out that everyone at the day spa has had at least 10+ years experience in the business. In Boston, that would cost you $80 at the cheapest. Usually someone who had that experience would cost $100 or more.

For my wax, I usually go to Crystal, but I believe she only works part time. I have gone to other waxers and they are amazing as well.

There massages are great as well. An hour for a Swedish is $65. and in Boston the cheapest you can find is $80. Same with the other treatments.

The atmosphere is very nice and calming with beautiful music playing, comfy couches and chairs, and an all around good vibe.

Everyone at the Day Spa is so nice and helpful and if you have questions or want something done another way they oblige.

I love the Day Spa. All my friends and family at home go there and love it as well!

Just want to let you know how happy I am with all the services I have received at the spa and salon. Last Friday, I had an appointment with Dee for a haircut. As always, she patiently listened, showed me what she'd done, then worked with me to get to where I wanted. I am thrilled with the results.

Additionally, I am very happy with the waxing services I have received from Danielle, and her facials are awesome. I've had a massage there also, very relaxing.

Finally, the front desk staff is very helpful and the times that I have had to leave messages, someone gets back to me quickly. They are courteous and helpful, and make it much easier to relax when I come in, often in a bit of a rush.
