Ultrasonic Treatment
Want to improve your skin without invasive injury? Here's how . . .
Dermasound is a technology that utilizes low frequency sound waves in a three-stage system
for safer mechanical exfoliation, molecular penetration, and healing micro-amp therapy to
combat aging skin, reduce wrinkles, clear acne, manage rosacea, and control hyperpigmentation,
in addition to many other skin challenges and conditions.
How is Dermasound different than Microdermabrasion?
Ultrasound differs from microdermabrasion in that it will not injure
the skin and it does not use harsh chemicals or particles as a means to resurface and
heal the skin. Ultrasound removes micro-thin damaged layers of skin via "heavy water". This
method of treating the skin influences cellular health as it decreases pigmentation,
promotes new cell growth, and aids in inner-cellular product penetration.
How do I know if Dermasound is beneficial and safe for my skin?
You're in luck!!! All skin types and skin colors benefit greatly with Dermasound.
No other skin care tool exists for ALL SKIN TYPES and CONDITIONS in the esthetic
environment.
How often should I receive a Dermasound Treatment?
You should have 2 series of treatments per year. Each series consists of 1 treatment per week for 6 weeks.
Does the Dermasound Treatment replace my Regular Facials?
No. In fact, you should continue your regular facials in between your Dermasound
series of treatments. For example, you would come in for a 6-week series of Dermasound treatments
in January and February and then continue your regular facials through June. In July, you would start another 6-week series of Dermasound treatments and resume your regular facials through December.
***Dermasound treatments should only be performed by an experienced, certified, and licensed esthetician that uses only those products, which are approved for this treatment. Consultations are recommended before
